Praise: | From the furthest galaxies to the nearest neurons, no more worthy stargazers exist than these steadfast beings. They bring astronomy to schools and have friendly star parties in parks. I have loved attending their meetings and star parties. I attended my first meeting with this group in the mid-1960s and 25 years later, they were meeting at the Episcopal church where I was baptized. My brother is a past treasurer of the club, and some of my fondest memories in life are from being present at a lecture or slide show or star party. Thank you for reminding me of them. |
